This is the tick that was pulled out of Stinger's ear.
I found the tick on him while bathing him. At first I thought he had a spider in his ear, but upon further investigation I found it to be a disgusting tick! Honey was away at the time. I tried to get it out of his ear by myself but Stinger screamed until I thought he was going to stop breathing! Honey finally came home and it took both of us holding him down to get this tick pulled out. Let's just say Stinger was quite mad at us! As a mom I am concerned about Lyme's disease, but I did some research and this tick seems to be a dog tick not a deer tick. Hopefully Stinger will be alright and still love us!
