Dear Miss Ivy,

Thank you for leaving my husband alone!  You see, picking raspberries in our woods brings Honey great joy.  However, you and your poisonous ways do not! The last couple of years you have made Honey absolutely miserable after being in our woods.  Thanks for staying away from him this year while he cleared paths to get to our numerous raspberry bushes.

By the way you will be happy to hear that Bumble and Honey found a lot of raspberries this year. Thanks to them I now have 30 cups of frozen raspberries in our freezer!

 It's especially nice that these raspberries will be free this year because Honey won't have to pay for medicine or even miss work because of you!
As you can imagine, I am trying out some new raspberry recipes to share.

I would invite you over to try some but I fear that would be a "rash" decision!

A Thankful Queen Bee

The Bee's "Little" Announcement

     Our Bee family is growing!  Honey and I are happy to announce that another little Bee will be arriving around December 21st!!  Queen Bee is doing well and is thankful that the weeks of exhaustion and nausea are finally over.  Did you notice I didn't post much in the last couple of months?  I honestly didn't have the energy.  Bumble is excited about the baby and wants a sister. (Bumble just read this and told me to insert the words "so bad" after the word sister!)  Stinger wants a brother, but I am not sure he fully understands.  I think he just says he wants a brother to make Bumble argue with him!  Anyway, I promise you there will be NO belly pictures so you do not have to read my blog posts in fear!  Also this little one will need a "Bee" name by December. Hmmm  Honey, Queen Bee, Bumble, Stinger, and .......??

     

The Bee's Clean the Deck

I am glad we chose to go with composite decking for our back deck.  However, the dark color really shows the mud and dirt.  Every now and then it needs a good cleaning.  Bumble and Stinger like to "help" with this...

Good job Bumble, but watch out!  There is a Bee in the bucket! 

With Honey's help they cleaned all the mud off and now it looks brand new!

Umm, could someone please get the Bee out of the bucket?!?

Oh well, at least they are having good "clean" fun!
